Spongebob - Update
Somehow Rodjim and I got our wires cross, but I think it turned out for the better. Initially, upon asking to color his Spongebob and crew he offered to redraw a portion of it with a slightly less "big boned" Sandy. I told him I'd work around it and commenced to coloring in my usual fashion. After completion I was musing as to what a swimsuit-clad (as opposed to a spacesuit-clad) Sandy in Rod's style might look like....and he didn't disappoint. More than likely you will see this one in color in the near future.

Spongebob Gets Busted
Imagine if you will, you and your buddies are hangin' out behind the Crusty Crab, chillin', passin' around a 40oz, smokin' a little kelp....and along comes Johnny Law. Ok, it's either that or they're the terrorists behind the Deepwater Horizon explosion out in the Gulf of Mexico last month.
At any rate, I am by no means a Spongebob fan, but my girlfriend's daughter thought the original sketch was pretty cool. She's 10....what can yuh do? Otherwise (other than the Barney song back in the day), the most dreaded words any adult can hear upon letting a child handle the TV remote has be: "Ohhhhhhhh...who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" Amusing at first, but now it sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
Oh, that scale is in inches, not feet. Spongebob, according to a screencap I saw, is 4 inches tall and weighs 1 ounce. Naturally the other characters are not scaled accordingly. In reality Patrick would be around 8 inches, Sandy between 8 and 12 inches, and Squidward...assuming that he's not a Giant Squid...would be no more than 24 inches.
In my minds eye, Patrick is giving us the middle finger.

Work(s) In Progress
Yeah, I know it's been a while since I posted anything, drawing or otherwise, but....well.....I don't really have a valid excuse other than to say that (real) work has been rather hectic as of late. Now, that's not to say that the private aviation business is getting any busier, but rather when you're that "go to guy" within the company and working on a promotion what energy I do have left at the end of the day I'd just assume not exhaust it sitting in front of a keyboard and mouse for hours on end.
With that said, what pieces I am working on....let's just say that several of them are a bit more complex and time consuming than what I've become accustomed to. A prime example being:
As you can see I'm not even remotely close to finishing this one, but rest assured that some of the others I'm working on are much further along.

Cardinal Sin
The actual title of this one is "As You Wish", but it would seem that I committed a cardinal sin upon nearing completion of this one. No, I didn't get all "Divine Comedy" and commit some atrocious and unspeakable act on some innocent by-standard or farm animal.... No, I'm guilty of an artistic sin. I forgot where my lighting source was.

100k
Well damn.
I turn my back for a whole half an hour and this blog crosses over the 100,000 views mark. Now, naturally the only thing I can do is thank all of you good (or good-ish) people out there for that. If this were DA however, I would normally feel pressured into doing some sort of page view oriented work....you know the sort I'm talking about. God knows, we've all seen some truly artistically gifted people produce a great many absolutely awe inspiring works on DA....and then totally fuck'em up by throwing on a "thanks for the (insert number here)". On here however, the very idea of producing something or re-hashing some existing work for that purpose seems completely idiotic to me.
At any rate, I'll just say "thank you" and leave it that.

I Dream of Genie: The Prequel
I've still got one more in the works of Rodjim's various undressings of Desiree from Danny Phantom. We'll call this one the "prequel"....as opposed to the reclining version I did a few months ago.
