Aaaannndd...We're Done

Do I really need to add any commentary here?  Then again, I am suddenly reminded of Baba Looey: "Hey Queeks Draw!"

  2. DH: Well, truth to tell, way back in '87 when my ex-wife-to-be took my innocence....yeah, I broke the land speed record. :P

Yeah, I got your email. I kinda dig the She-Ra one though I'd probably have to carve that waistline out just a bit....kinda has that second trimester sorta look. The Toph one...nice, but (no offense) it ain't blowin' my skirt up.

  3. DH: Not Toph specifically, I like the inks actually...but what interest I did have in ATLA in '05-08, that abortion of a film killed in one fell swoop.

  4. You shouldn't hate the franchise because of the film. It wasn't even endorsed by Nickelodeon themselves. Besides you wouldn't want to miss out on the newest installment to the franchise would you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r04B_3XXeLY

  5. Heh..."the Avatar". I dunno...we'll see. A decent trailer (in the hands of the right editor) can make even the biggest stinker of a show/movie look like an award winner.

I say "what interest I did have" because I was never the biggest fan on American stylized anime to begin with.

  6. Ah I see. You have to admit though the animators put a lot of effort into it and that's why many people find the characters hard to get just right. I mean look at this commercial that aired after the show's finale http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkSTqY40MgU They still put in the effort to animate this whole thing. A lot of commercials based off cartoons normally don't have the animators from the shows to animate them so it shows how much dedication these people have to their franchise. Few things to note:

    1. She-Ra's panties are white

    2. Toph's wearing a white bra and white panties (a few others missed that)

    3. Both linearts were done by BlackAngel014 http://blackangel014.deviantart.com/

  7. Between Rondo's Tex-Mex addiction and the schedule these two keep (2:30 chemistry quiz, 3:49 flee exploding lair), 3 minutes might be above-average for him. Slackers and uber-achievers, I tell ya...anyhoo, nice touchup & I kinda dig Kimber's pink garters.

Re: Avatar...saw a couple episodes of the series (including the finale...overall, not bad), saw & continue to see tons of fanart (again, surprisingly not bad), heard Shyamalan was directing & gave the film a pass. As anime-derivations go, it's at least several notches above crap like Beyblade/Bakugan/Cookie-Cutter-Pokemon-Knockoff #485-B.

Re: the "Superman II" pic...nice. It's truly odd that after three-odd decades, Zod & Company remain the most badass live-action villains in Supes' film career, hilariously abrupt as their onscreen comeuppance was.

  8. DH: Heh...reminds me of all those '80s Transformers PSAs (pre-ebaumsworld edit): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyU-yGPqvB8 They were the same animators as the series, but...yeah, oh what a difference 20 years makes in animation quality.

  9. Anon: To paraphrase the original artist, Superman II showed us that three Kryptonian villains dressed as Abba´s dark reverse could kick some serious ass. It's unfortunate that said kick-ass-ary (not necessarily the characters themselves) didn't migrate to the third and fourth films. I was quite happy with Dr Strangelove leading the charge on "no nukes", but Supe? C'mon, Really?!? Then again, the Star Trek cast did save the whales the year before. Damned Reagan-era hippies.

  10. Wonderful work.
I do not send more drawings of Kim to my gallery.
Moderators Google think it is a minor,so they want to punish me.
I do not understand the rules of Google.

  11. HD2: Thanks. As I've read it, Google / Blogger has a zero tolerance on said depictions. They don't give any specific international law / regulation they are following, but my guess would be the UNCRC. Ironically, the only countries that have not ratified the UNCRC are the U.S. and Somalia...and Somalia hasn't had a legit government since 1991.

As far as Google's "zero tolerance" policy is concerned I'm guessing they don't actively go out looking for adult content, but rather rely upon a viewer / troll reporting system similar to that of deviantART....which, by my way of thinking, is just plain stupid. You can use Google's search engine and find any questionable content (including those they have a zero tolerance of), but you can't have said content on Blogger. Quite the double standard they have there.

  12. Then why haven't they got on my case about DA's Nightmare and yours about the content here? And this is long overdue but what edit did you make?

  13. DH: I'd say (in our case) its just a case of visibility. We don't garner the same hit count as HD2 so we don't attract nearly as many trolls and/or crusaders. Which edit are you referring to?

  14. I like how you changed this from the original... I doubt any man would last long with Kim.

  15. LH: Yeah, I do prefer them goo-free for some reason.
