Warmonga - Work Files

A couple of work files from the G-man's recent piece, "Warmonga in Trouble".

Updated 11/17/12: You can find the third work file >>here<<.

Zero G and I Feel Fine

Ask again and again...and (eventually) ye shall receive.  Such is the case when some unknown individual began requesting this piece from Gagala, probably some years ago, of "Warmonga in Trouble".  I have no idea who the repeat-requester is, but given the amount of time it took to get it done I'm sure this will exceed their expectations.

Loner meets Hose Beast

A little surprise visit in the shower for Gwen courtesy of Izzy, Total Drama's resident psycho hose beast.  Have I mentioned that I hate doing backgrounds, especially from scratch?  Yeah, fuck you, background.

Killing a little time on my weekend, catching up on my coloring...which (at least in my mind's eye) I never seem to have time for.  Back to work tomorrow...just in time for a late-season hurricane to descend upon Florida and the Bahamas.  Joy.

Blondie and Tootsie

Did you know that before Blondie Boopadoop married Dagwood Bumstead in 1933, she was a  flapper who liked to hang out in dance halls?  Blondie's maiden name was derived from the song "I Wanna Be Loved by You" by Helen Kane.  A Max Fleischer caricature of Kane, with her famous "boop-boop-a-doop" tag line, eventually became one of the first cartoon sex symbols...one Betty Boop.

Going Postal

I was supposed to have this Chris Sanders print on Saturday, but apparently my usual postal carrier was taking a couple of days off from work...leaving my latest acquisition in the hands of a second-string temp.  The temp left notice that it was at the post office to be picked up on Friday, but put the notice in the wrong mail box...a little old lady's mail box two blocks away.  She however, was kind enough to bring it to me while she was walking her dog the next morning.  I thanked her for going out of her way to bring it to me, but by that time it was too late to get to post office before their noon closing on Saturday. At this point I'm not overly concerned about getting the print...at least I know where it is and not lost somewhere out there in postal limbo, bound for the dead letter office or the North Pole c/o Santa Claus.

Fast forward to Monday, I take off early from work to pick up the package, but when I get there the postal clerk at the desk tells me that the genius of a temp has put the package on his truck a second time...apparently doing so after a notice for pick-up has been left is a serious no-no in the postal biz.  The postal clerk tells the Postmaster...and she's pissed!  I'm still taking it all in stride...they're extremely apologetic and I keep telling them it's no big deal.  Well, long story made short, apparently it IS a "big deal" in the postal profession....a "step into my office, because you're fuckin' fired!" kind of deal.

Ever wonder why so many letter carriers ended up "going postal" back in the day?  Well, now you know.

I'm going to have it professionally framed some time next week, but for the interim...yeah...ignore the over-sized, shitty, plastic Wal-Mart frame.  It's the only thing I could find on short notice that came close to fitting it.

Drink the Cool-Aid

Yeah, I drank from Chris Sanders' cool-aid pitcher a long time ago...long before How to Train Your Dragon and even long before Lilo & Stitch.  A couple of years ago Chris started drawing a Halloween themed piece called "Party Witches" that I kinda glommed onto.  The final version came out around Halloween of 2010 and ran as a 12x21 limited / signed print that was only available at major comic cons...I think they sold for around $100.  In come the con trolls to gobble them up, put'em on eBay, and then jack the prices to $175 and up...which I sure as hell wasn't willing to shell out.

Oh, what a difference a coupla Halloweens make.  Chris only offered up 20 of them on his website yesterday...and at the mind-bogglingly low price of $20.  Sorry, I don't wanna sound like I'm gloating or anything (pfft, yes I do!), but I got the next to the last one.

I'll have it in my grubby little mitts by the end of the week.

Gonna Be A Long Flight

It's been quite a few years since Gagala did any animation work...since 2009 in fact.  Even with that long of a hiatus....he doesn't disappoint.

This would be Yoshiko Kyoko, translator for toy-magnate Nakasumi, from the "So the Drama" movie and the episode "Crush"...and not to be confused with Ron's would-be girlfriend, Yori.  In my mind's eye Kim asks her something to the effect of, "It's an eleven hour flight to L.A...wanna see MY toy collection?"

All Hallows Eve - Work File

Yes, I've been holding out on ya'll....I can be a greedy little toon hoarder like that from time to time.  So yeah, here's a work file from the G-Man's Halloween piece.  Before you even ask ('cuz I just know someone is bound to), no, there isn't a completely nude version of this like his previous work files.  That's just the way Gagala works sometimes.

All Hallows Eve

Happy Halloween from the G-man!

Monique: "No more candy, but they want more. What do we do?"
Kim: "I got an idea.  They want sweets? They'll get'em!"

Looks familiar doesn't it?  Yeah, this would be Gagala's take on the KP Halloween episode:

Linda Flynn-Fletcher

Yet, another under-appreciated and under-drawn MILFs within toon-dom.  Yes, it's Linda Flynn-Fletcher from Phineas and Ferb....but without that god-awful pink complexion.  Honestly, as she's portrayed (colored) in the cartoon, it looks like her mother ingested way too much Thalidomide while she was in the womb.

...and yes, I know.  It ain't very often that I do the full-on, full-view penetration ones.  I just get that urge from time to time.

Damnit!!

It would seem that I have completely overlooked a rather significant event in the history of this blog.  This oversight wasn't because of neglect, apathy, or procrastination...far from it in fact.  Nope, just being a good old fashioned slave to the grind.

So, what's this all-important event I missed?  One Million pageviews, that's what!

On a much, much lesser note, I also went over the 20k mark on (Über Alles) deviantART.
