Moonlighting

What, you think all those flying cars, robot maids, and automatic meal machines are gonna pay for themselves?  Hell, George only has a 9-hour work week....literally....three hours a day, three days a week, pushin' a single button between (frequently interrupted) naps.

Somebody's gotta make that bank!

  1. Do what you have to for the family, Jane.

I can't remember. Did they even use paper money in The Jetsons?

    1. In the title (opening) sequence where they're flying and dropping the kids off at school, Jane takes George's wallet rather than a single note....otherwise, I don't recall paper money ever being exchanged.

They do however, refer to "credits"...but in real life the modern credit card didn't come about until the late '60s and weren't widely used until the early '70s. The Jetsons original run was '62 to '87.

      Here end-th the lesson. :P
