TV Dinner
This gelatinous mush would be the first TV dinner I've had in twenty-five or more years. As I recall, the last one I had still came in tin foil (aluminum) packaging and was cooked in a toaster oven, a conventional oven, or the microwave...back in the day when the microwave oven was still referred to as the "radar range". Better still, the contents of said old school meals actually looked like what was pictured on their cardboard container....it looked like shit, but at least it was accurate. I can't quite say the same for the advertising on this "soilent green is people" concoction.
Granted, I've had various microwavable entrée (a single course of a meal) just like everyone else, just not the whole (grotesque) meal on one tray. If this what they've been reduced to since the mid-80s, I'd hate to imagine what they'll look like in 2036.

...and no, I didn't eat it.

Velvet
I've been steadily weening myself off Kim Possible over the past year or so, but....well, what can yuh do? Not unlike crack or meth addiction (not that I would know anything about such things), occasionally you relapse and have to feed the monkey.
Originally I had intended to do some sort of bedroom or industrial warehouse background for this one, but then I remembered seeing a huge velvet painting in a local bar when I was a eighteen or nineteen....back when the legal drinking age was still eighteen of course.

Save Me
Just a couple of abandoned cars I've spotted over the years throughout the Southeast. Whether in some out-of-business used car lot or sitting in the weeds next to a farmer's field, they all seem to cry out "Save Me!"
Cheap Seats
Jeff Gordon's Number 24 at the 2009 51st running of the Daytona 500 as seen from the backstretch cheap seats off turn two.
Open-Wheeled Modified (Northern) at Orlando Speed World during Speed Weeks 2004 as seen from the back of a wrecker.
Lisa Simpson
Loathing....that would be my general mindset upon seeing any work that was never meant to be turned into an animated gif. Hell, on the rare occasion even my own stuff gets turned into utter trash by some gif-ster. Such is the case when I found this one on Rule 34 and thought to myself, "Self, you oughta redo this one, but without that idiotic animated bullshit." I've never really had a thing for any of the Simpsons characters...well, with exception of Linda Evangelista.
As near as I can tell, the original animated version is a combination of two pictures...Lisa Simpson's head stuck onto another body, which I assume is Marge Simpson. Decent premise on the part of the "animator"...piss poor execution.Unfortunately, I have no earthy idea who the original artist(s) is.

Monument to Greatness
Looks familiar doesn't it? Can you guess what it is and where it's located? Well, if you guessed the Washington Monument you would be wrong. It's the Jefferson Davis Monument located in Fairview, Kentucky. Completed in 1924 it is the third tallest obelisk in the world, however it is the tallest concrete obelisk on the planet. Taller obelisks, such as the San Jacinto Monument and Washington Monument, are constructed with blocks of stone.
Drama Queen
I felt myself slipping into that oh so familiar "all work and no play" mode and needed to find a little inspiration. I'm not the biggest fan of Total Drama Island, but I am a fan of GemLord's work (both clothed and not so clothed)...so it seemed like a natural trade-off.

Frankie-o-Rama
A whole lot of Frankie Foster action for yuh....
Sometimes one's imagination gets the best of them. This seems to be the case with Frankie Foster's Barbarella inspired alter ego, Frankarella (left)...add a dash of split personality disorder in the form of Frankie's domineering supervillian persona, Frankincenst (right)....and let the fun commence.

In my mind's eye Frankie is saying something to the affect of, "Oh yeah, give it to me Bloo!" Kim on the other hand asks, "Umm, who are you talking to?" You know, the whole "imaginary friends" thing? This would be the uncomfortable silence shortly after their exchange.

Been A Long Day
I saw this one and thought to myself, "Self, that's exactly what you do after a long, drawn out day at work...close the front door, instantly start tearing off clothes, and head straight for the shower."
If anyone knows who drew the original sketch let me know so I can credit them accordingly.

Urban Myth
Millie, Andy's Dames hot librarian and bondage queen, seems to have a little short-fall in book funding. In reality, I am the son of librarians...they in turn have plenty of librarian friends. I can assure you that the existence of hot, porn-star-quality librarians is little more than an urban myth.
Yeah, sorry for killing that fantasy for you.
Then again, there was a certain book drive / bikini car wash featuring a bunch of high school cheerleaders I recall from my youth.......but I digress.
You may recognize Andy's work from my collection of Battlestar Galactica prints.

Doctors Suite
Occassionally one finds a Shon Howell (aka King Cheetah) sketch that demands your full and undivided attention.
Back in June of '10 however, Shon went on a little ten dollar commission spree and was crankin' them out left and right. Now don't get me wrong, I really love Shon's style, but when it came time to doing my sketch what received was....hmmmm....not what I expected. I'll be polite and just refer to this one of Dr Girlfriend as the 'runt of the litter'.

Feral Cats
Not to be confused with stray cats (those who have been lost or abandoned by their owner), feral cats are descendants of domesticated cats that were born in the wild and have limited (if any) contact with humans. In this particular case, their only contact was when they were captured...and ultimately euthanized.

Revenge is Sweet
A little motivation after re-reading Sun Tzu's the Art of War several years ago. I, for reasons I can't recall, felt the need to tone down Aeolus' original version of this a bit.

James Gang Bank
Formerly the Southern Deposit Bank of Russellville, Kentucky, now a private residence and the Logan County Museum. On March 20, 1868 the James Gang (then known as the James-Younger Gang) robbed it, netting between $12,000 and $15,000...roughly $1.7M in todays dollars. Depending upon which account of the robbery one reads, it's debatable as to whether Jeese James actually took part in the robbery, but descriptions of the robbers at the time indicated that both Jesse and older brother Frank were participants. The town reenacts the robbery on horseback and in period costume during it's annual Tobacco and Heritage Festival.

The last time I attempted to color one of yumibow's sketches I ended up with a good case of heartburn, several bald patches from tearing my own hair out, and many a sleepless night.....and vowed to never, ever do another group picture of more than few characters. This time around however....well, I finished it at 4 o'clock in the morning, but my hair is intact and I can only blame the heartburn on two black bean burritos.

Flora and Fauna
Just a few test shots taken at a local city park....messing around with exposure settings on a rainy, dreary day. Of the thirty some-odd shots I took, these were the only two even remotely worth keeping.

Enhanced Interrogation
No political commentary intended here. Sinope and I entered pictures into a military themed contest on Hentai Foundry at the beginning of 2010...out of twenty or so entries his finished fifth and mine in sixth. I'd been wanting to color this, but simply couldn't get off my duff and complete it. I recall him saying that he actually envisioned the "prisoner" as a brunette, but...

Corporate Branch
A piece of corporate art at the Orange County Convention Center I spotted while attending Megacon 2010. As a general rule I absolutely loath the generic quality of corporate artwork, but the contrast with the structural framing and windows caught my eye.
I have a friend whose secondary job is to go around, catalog, and track corporate artwork at various local branches of a Fortune 500 company. No, really, that's her job! To some that would seem like a dream come true...to her (and me) it's a mind-numbing, soul-crushing, tedious shit job that ought to be given to some pasty, pimple-faced intern.
Bone Shaker
1935 Ford Pickup ratrod owned by Lucky-U Cycles on display at Leesburg Bikefest 2010. A friend of mine has one that is very similar, though more ratty than hotrod. It's bad enough that your knees are against the dash while hunched over to keep from hittin' your head against the roof, but you are literally three inches from the pavement in something that has no rear suspension (the rear end is bolted directly to the frame) and has chopped front leaf springs. About the only modern convenience either of them has is...uhhhhh....yeah, I'll have to get back to on that one. Hell, as long as it looks cool, who gives a shit what it rides like.
Wise man once said...
In the immortal words of Sam Elliot: "A wiser fellow than myself once said, sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear...well, he eats you."
Her Name Was Lola
Yeah, sorry....I couldn't help referencing Barry Manilow. The second one is another piece without an artist, so if anyone knows who did the original sketch give me a shout so I can credit them accordingly.

Grad Night
I think the premise behind this one was an graduation after-party that gets a little out of hand. In the original sketch there were a lot more half-empty bottles of booze laying about, but for coloring purposes I removed a few of them. Kinkycomix's site was in the middle of a redesign when I found this one, but it would seem they've since gone the way of the Dodo Bird.

Unlikely Crossover
Yeah, we've all seen some pretty whacked out crossovers, but Danny Phantom's Maddie Fenton and Kim Possible? Somehow, although I have yet to figure out how (or why), it seems to work. Let's face it, there are much, much stranger crossovers out there....such as: Peanuts-Avatar and Lion King-HALO.
...and yes, I was a lazy bastard and reused the background from the Kim-Ann one.

The End Is Nigh
Threw the board in the back of the Jeep and took off for the beach this morning....lookin' to ride that meteor-driven, apocalyptic tsunami all the way to Tennessee or Kentucky. I didn't really have anything better to do for Judgement Day.
Much to my surprise (insert sarcastic roll of the eyes here) it's been flat calm all morning and afternoon. I'm hoping for at least a plague of frogs or locusts on the drive home this evening.

Castillo de San Marcos
The Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine, Florida was constructed by the Spanish in 1672 following the 1668 attack on St Augustine by English buccaneer (pirate) Robert Searle. The catillo was also known as Fort St. Mark from 1763 until 1784 while under British control and Fort Marion from 1821 until 1942. Saint Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European-established city and port in the continental United States, turning 450 years old in 2015.
