Holli and Lonette

Now, you know me...I couldn't just do one Cool World related pic.  Naturally, I had to find something that included Lonette, Detective Harris' toon girlfriend, but sketches and reference material are pretty few and far between.  As for the original piece, it included a lot of ancillary characters crowded around the stage, but (no offense to the original artist) I thought it was a little distracting and decided to simplify things a bit.  Likewise, there are only a few scenes in the movie where the characters are shadowed or shaded in any manner...so that disappeared too.

Cool World's Lonette has to be one of the most underrated (and under-drawn) characters within toondom.  It's a cryin' shame.
